Why I Like It

The Turbine-R stem strikes a great balance between durability and stiffness while still looking slick. I swapped the 50mm version on bike for the 70mm length, 0° rise to preserve my stack height but add a bit more reach. It came stock in a shorter size on my bike, and I appreciated being able to get the exact same model in a longer version.

Torque specs are printed right on the stem, which makes it easy to remove the bars when I travel — no guessing or searching. It feels stiff under hard efforts, super secure, and offers solid confidence in technical terrain.

• It’s not the lightest stem on the market, so ultra-weight-weenie racers might look elsewhere — but it’s plenty light for XC racing and ultra-reliable.

XC and trail riders who want a clean, confidence-inspiring stem with no fuss. If you’re upgrading your fit or just want a dependable part with great aesthetics and printed torque specs, it’s a great pick.

Notes

• Install is a breeze — no issues with faceplate alignment or creaking.
