Microfiber Cloth
The simplest and safest way to clean your frame, fork, and components without scratching or streaking.
Why I Use It
A stack of microfiber cloths is a must for any post-ride cleanup or race-day detail job. I use them for wiping down frames, dried sealant from rims, cleaning fork stanchions, and even as a barrier when working on tight frame interfaces (like flipping a flip chip).
They’re cheap, reusable, and way more effective than paper towels or shop rags.
Pro Tips
- Color-code for tasks. Use one color for drivetrain grime and another for clean surfaces.
- Keep a few in your race-day bag. They’re perfect for last-minute wipe-downs.
